Rob Cross

Rob Cross

Rob has served several roles in the entertainment lighting industry since attending college at the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music in the early 1970's. Over the years he has worked in Drafting, Rigging Design and Installation, and Lighting Control System Design and Installation. He has been Regional Manager for Dimming and Control Manufacturers and Lighting Control specialist for architectural lighting agencies. In 1998 Rob founded Cross Light Inc. to specialize in Lighting, Control, and Automated Rigging for Architectural and Performing Arts applications.

Jim Sjogren

Jim Sjogren

Jim brings over thirty years of experience to Cross Light. For twenty of those years Jim was in the United States Air Force working with digital electronic systems. Now for the last ten years he has been working in the Midwest on theatrical lighting systems of most every major manufacturer. Mr. Sjogren has the qualifications and the experience to diagnose and repair electrical equipment down to the component level. This of course includes the diagnosis and repair of dimming systems, lighting consoles, and peripheral equipment.

Bev Ballard

Bev Ballard

Bev has been with Cross Light since it began ten years ago and is largely responsible for its continued survival and success. Running everything from phones to payroll to accounts payable and receivable and everything in between, Bev does it all. She is the proud mother of three: Adam, Brooke, and Brianna.

Aislinn Story

Aislinn Story

Aislinn is a recent graduate from Indiana State University in Theatre Design and Production (BS). At ISU she acted as the House Master Electrician and Stage Managed several productions. She has worked with Crossroads Repertory Theater as Stage Manager and Master Electrician. Aislinn also interned for ETC in their quotations department.

Jonathan Fuchs

Jonathan Fuchs

Jonathan is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music graduate program in Lighting Design (MFA). Prior to graduate school, he spent two years on the road as a touring Assistant Electrician for Phoenix Productions' national tours of Grease and Smokey Joe's Cafe. So, any time "Greased Lightnin'" comes on, he starts to twitch. After three hundred performances of Grease, you would too. Before that, he attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he earned his BFA in Lighting Design and Technology. In between all that, he worked at his local summer theatre in Naperville, IL, and the Midtown International Theatre Festival in New York City for two years apiece. He now lives in Cincinnati with his lovely wife, Samantha.

BJ Wilkinson

BJ Wilkinson

B.J. Wilkinson recently earned his MFA in Theatrical Lighting Design from the University of Cincinnati, College Conservatory of Music. Recently he has been the Master Electrician and Technical Director for the First National Tour of A Year with Frog and Toad. He earned his BA in Lighting Design from The University of Northern Colorado, and has worked with many companies including Utah Shakespearean Festival, Cincinnati Ballet, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Southern Ohio Light Opera, Nebraska Theatre Caravan, and Little Theatre of the Rockies.
